What Reclaim Money does
Reclaim Money is an AI-powered debt negotiator for people who want to stop overpaying credit-card issuers. You enter details about a card you hold (issuer, APR, balance, payment history — never the card number), and the app generates the exact call script for negotiating with the issuer: a lower APR, a waived annual fee, a reversed late fee, a retention offer, or a debt settlement.

Common questions
Do I need to enter my full credit-card number?
No. Reclaim Money never asks for card numbers, security codes, or account credentials. We only need details you already have on your statement: issuer, product name, APR, balance, credit limit, months held, and payment history.
Where is my data stored?
Card details and call history live on your phone. Our backend forwards your card details to the AI (Anthropic's Claude) for the moment it takes to generate your script, and does not persist them. See our Privacy Policy for the full data flow.
Is negotiating with my credit-card company legal?
Yes. Negotiating credit terms is legal and extremely common — millions of consumers request rate reductions, fee waivers, and settlements every year. Reclaim Money coaches you on how to ask. Outcomes still depend on your issuer, account history, and individual circumstances.

How do I delete my data?
All Reclaim Money data lives on your phone. To delete everything at once, uninstall the app from iOS (long-press the icon → Remove App → Delete App). To delete a single card or call, use the "Remove this card" or "Delete this call" buttons inside the app.
